Privacy First Approach

Docker Monitor is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your Docker server details, tokens, logs, and container data stay on your device and are not sent to Docker Monitor services.

Information We Don't Collect

Docker Monitor operates with a "privacy by design" philosophy. We explicitly do NOT collect:

  • Personal information (names, emails, phone numbers)
  • Docker server credentials or connection details
  • Container logs or application data
  • Automatic in-app usage analytics or behavioral data
  • Device identifiers or location data
  • Crash reports or diagnostic information

Local Data Storage

Application data is stored locally on your device:

  • Server Configurations: Stored locally on your device
  • SSH Keys: Stored locally on your device
  • Agent Tokens: Stored per server in local preferences on your device
  • Application Settings: Stored in local preferences
  • Cached Data: Temporarily stored locally, never transmitted

Network Communications

Docker Monitor only communicates with:

  • Your Docker Hosts: Docker Monitor Agent endpoints you configure
  • SSH Tunnels: Encrypted tunnels you configure
  • App Stores: For app updates and purchases (handled by Apple/Google)
  • Docker Monitor Services: For support messages, purchase support lookups, privacy policy display, and the optional anonymous activation event you approve

The optional activation event is sent once only after you opt in. It records that a first server connection succeeded and includes app version, platform, connection mode, and an anonymous install ID. It does not include hostnames, IP addresses, tokens, logs, container names, or server details.

Third-Party Services

The mobile app uses app store and purchase infrastructure for downloads and Pro purchases. Docker Monitor also uses support and privacy policy endpoints, plus the optional anonymous activation event you approve.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

  • Tokens and SSH material should be protected by your device passcode and operating system security controls
  • SSH connections use standard cryptographic protocols
  • No Docker host data transmission to Docker Monitor services
  • Regular security updates and patches

Children's Privacy

Docker Monitor is designed for professional use by developers and system administrators. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information, this policy applies universally.

Changes to Privacy Policy

Any changes to this privacy policy will be communicated through app updates or this website.
